Tabitap Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for use of the application "Tabitap" (the "App") provided by Nueva (the "Company," "we," or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Description of the Service)

  1. The App is a tap-based travel interpretation app that lets you assemble pre-recorded travel phrases by tapping, display them on screen, and show them to the person you are speaking with. It also supports spoken output using your device's text-to-speech (TTS) function.
  2. The core features of the App work entirely offline, without an Internet connection. However, some features, such as automatic updates of phrase data (packs), require a network connection.

Article 3 (Accounts)

No account registration or login is required to use the App. We will never ask you to register your name, email address, or similar information.

Article 4 (Subscriptions)

  1. The App's paid features are offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The price and subscription period are as displayed on the purchase screen (App Store / Google Play) and may vary by store and region.
  2. Your first purchase includes a 3-day free trial. When the free trial ends, unless you cancel during the trial period, your subscription automatically converts to a paid period and you will be charged the price shown on the purchase screen.
  3. The subscription renews automatically, and the renewal fee is charged, unless it is canceled before the end of the current period. The cancellation deadline and billing timing are governed by the rules of the relevant store (App Store / Google Play).
  4. To cancel, use the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play. Cancellation is not possible from within the App or by contacting the Company.
  5. Payments are processed by the stores. We never receive your credit card details or other payment information.
  6. Refunds of fees already paid are governed by the rules of the relevant store.

Article 5 (Intellectual Property)

All copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the App and in the phrase data, audio, designs, and other content contained in it belong to the Company or its rightful licensors. You may use the App only within the scope of its intended purpose.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

You must not do any of the following:

  1. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  2. Copy, redistribute, or sell content contained in the App, or otherwise use it beyond its intended purpose
  3. Interfere with the operation of the App or gain unauthorized access to its servers
  4. Engage in conduct that violates laws or public order and morals

Article 7 (Notice and Disclaimer Regarding Translations)

  1. The phrases in the App are created with the aim of being reliable for practical use, but we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any translation.
  2. In important situations such as medical, legal, or contractual matters, do not rely on the App alone; use a professional interpreter.
  3. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damage you incur from using, or being unable to use, the App.

Article 8 (Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service)

We may change the content of the App, or suspend or terminate its provision, without prior notice to users.

Article 9 (Changes to These Terms)

We may amend these Terms as necessary. Amended Terms take effect when announced within the App or by other appropriate means. By continuing to use the App after an amendment, you are deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the App or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company.
